Hey, I'm Fady. I'm a software engineer originally from Cairo, Egypt, now based in Madrid, Spain.

By day I write code. When I'm not at my desk, you'll probably find me somewhere in the mountains or in the workshop doing some woodworking.

The Mountain Thing

I got into hiking back in Egypt, starting with trips to Mount Catherine in Sinai. Since moving to Spain in 2024, I've been making the most of the mountains here with my dog, Selva.
